NFF Denies Keshi’s Resignation

The future of Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi remained a mystery after the Nigerian Football Federation denied reports he resigned following their World Cup exit.

Nigeria went out of the tournament in Brazil at the round of 16 stage after a 2-0 defeat to France, after which Keshi said: “It's time for me to go back to my family and face fresh challenges."

Super Eagles Final List of 23 for Brazil 2014

The long awaited final World Cup list was finally released on Monday, June 2 by the Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi.

Given the opportunity to become Nigeria’s first-ever century- international is the super eagle’s defender, Joseph Yobo, who will play in his third FIFA World Cup finals after he was named in the African champions’ final list of 23 for Brazil 2014.

Meanwhile, African Nations Championship Most Valuable Player, Ejike Uzoenyi and AFCON winner, Sunday Mba did not make the list. 

NFF Unveils Eagles New Jersey

The Nigeria Football Federation on Thursday in Abuja unveiled new sets of jerseys for the Super Eagles, ahead of the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup. 

NAN reports that the jerseys came in three sets of Green and lemon, white, lemon and green, as well as orange and black, for the goalkeepers.
