Dangote Sponsors 15 Young Global Leaders

Six Nigerians and nine other Africans are among 199 honourees who have been selected for the 2013 Young Global Leaders Award of the World Economic Forum (WEF) instituted by The Dangote Fellowship.

Of the 15 honourees, eight have been adjudged eligible for Young Global Leaders (YGL) Dangote Fellowship, a fellowship that gives them the opportunity of being sponsored fully to regional and global events being organised by the WEF.

Dangote Fellowship, instituted by the Dangote Foundation, has sponsored members of the Community of the YGLs to various private programmes at the Annual General Meeting of the New Champions in China, World Economic Forum in India, several meetings in Davos and the WEF Educational Module in the United State of America (USA).

Since its inception, the Dangote Fellowship programme has funded 35 trips of 14 African Young Global Leaders with the opportunity to increase their participation to regional and global events organised by the WEF.
